Karate Demonstrations
SESMA prides itself on the high quality of its demonstrations at school and village fetes & fayres, also on its ability to attract and please an audience.
Students of SESMA have performed synchronized katas (set pattern of moves), techniques with gymnastic elements and traditional karate moves with music.
Some of SESMA’s most rememberable performances included a martial art version of the musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang which used a 15 foot cut out of Chitty, that was attached to a real car. A karate and gymnastic section that had the main instructors diving through rings of fire and SESMA’s chief instructor demonstrating martial arts whilst wearing stilts.
Also to help increase attendance to fetes & fayres, SESMA provide an inflatable 6mx6m sumo arena and sumo suits. The sumo suits have been very popular at fetes and the addition of the arena increases visual impact and more importantly safety.
If you would like SESMA to provide a demonstration at your school/village fete, then please contact SESMA. All we ask in exchange for a free demonstration is that we may have an area to run our sumo arena.
